Course Overview
Whether you work in the pest control office or are already a qualified Pest Technician, when customers are experiencing a pest problem, your pest control knowledge can make all the difference.
In this non-accredited short theory course, you will learn or refresh your knowledge on:
- Pests’ biology & ecology for: Spiders, Cockroaches, Rodents, Ants, and other pests
- Applying Integrated Pest Management treatments in the environment
- Introducing Pesticides
- Pesticide Labels & SDS’s
- Equipment Selection, Storage & Maintenance
- Customer Care & Interaction
Course Outcome
Upon successful course completion, students will be issued a Statement of Participation for completed modules.
Mode of Assessment
Assessment of this short course consists of multiple-choice quizzes completed after course lessons on the online portal.

- Online Lessons and training material: Course material is interactive and readily available from our training portal. Access recorded webinars, hosted by our trainers, covering key course materials.
- Support Requests Forms & In-portal Messages: Use our online training portal to submit your course or assessment queries 24/7 using either our ‘Student Support Request digital form or our leave a message for a trainer with the contact function.
- Student Support Hour: Virtual face to face support with our trainers, for assistance with course material and assignments held twice a week.
- Digital forms are available in the online training portal for students request course extensions, suspensions, or cancellations (if required).
- Other: To provide additional support and reference, students are encouraged to conduct independent research, as well as to purchase/source copies of:
