 The Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System is a Monitoring and Baiting System designed to concentrate termite feeding in specific locations. Once feeding has been concentrated at the Sentricon Monitoring Stations, the Monitoring Device in the Stations is replaced by Recruit™ II Termite Bait containing hexaflumuron, an insect growth regulator (IGR). Recruit™ II has been shown to prevent termites from moulting. This results in their death and the eventual elimination of the colony whilst minimising the use of chemicals in the environment.
