This type of policy provides cover for the building of dwelling or other buildings whilst they undergo construction, renovation or extension. It provides cover for fire & perils and theft of building material onsite and whilst undergoing construction. Cover is also provided for liability for the construction site.

Cover can be provided for an individual project, such as a single house, or an annual construction policy that may be required by a builder. Cover can be provided to owner builders.
