Training Review

Rapid Training is undertaking a review of the organisation's capacity to deliver accredited training. This review is about getting a better understanding of the current training activity and how it is delivered.

Training and technical support remains a critical value add service that Rapid Training provides its clients. We also understand that in addition to accredited training, our customers want us to continue to provide access to workshops, informal and formal networking opportunities and technical advice and support.

While this review is completed Rapid Training is not taking enrolments for accredited training. There are no changes to technical workshop training courses or activities.

Once we have completed the review of accredited training we will be able to tell you more but would welcome any questions you might have in the meantime.

If you need to commence accredited training straight away, please visit training.gov.au. This Australian Government website lists all accredited training providers nationally.

      Answer

We are undertaking the review as quickly as possible, no firm date has been set for opening up enrolments.

    • How does this impact other training enrolments?

      Answer

Non-accredited training is still open and asthese courses are not assessable, are not part of our current review.

    • Why are you reviewing training?

      Answer

This review is about getting a better understanding of the current training activity and how it is delivered. For example, the capacity we currently have in qualified, experienced trainers and assessors to service our students across the country. This is an important part of our commitment to deliver the best possible services for clients.
    • I’ve already started my training with Rapid Training, how will I be able to complete it?

      Answer

There are no immediate changes to existing student activities and we remain committed to providing our current students with a quality learning experience.
    • What do you mean by capacity?

      Answer

Rapid Training is reviewing what and who it needs to deliver the best possible accredited training options for its customers, including our available trainers and assessors.

    • Someone said that you don’t have capacity because you moved your trainers to contract earlier this year?

      Answer

Whilst we moved to a contract trainer model earlier this year and some of our trainers decided not to pick up a contract with Rapid Training, we know from our review that we haven't had the required capacity in trainers for some time. This is in large part due to increasing enrolments and the geographic spread of our students across all States of Australia.

    • I need to commence accredited training straight away, what can I do?

      Answer

The Australian Government website training.gov.au lists all accredited training providers nationally.
